Have not I commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged! For the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go! -Josh 1:9

Christmas Mela 2010

We attended the American Embassy's Christmas Mela last Sunday.  It was held at the American Embassy School.  Nice place, but definitely not within our budget!  $14,000 annual tuition for all grade levels, but with an automatic guarantee of admittance into any Ivy League after graduation.  Sorry Sawyer.  I guess, on top of never getting to be president, you won't be able to experience that kind of education either.

BUT, we had a great time eating hot dogs and hamburgers with the Murrays.  Plus it was definitely a treat listening to an ALL white choir singing Christmas carols in the background.  By far, our favorite part was stopping at the Lal & Sons stall (our favorite store in all of India) and buying our 2010 Christmas ornament.  Such a joy to see Auntie again, but since Uncle was back at the shop, I guess we will have to take another trip to Jorbagh to wish him a Merry Christmas!
