WBB Party #1-Message Board Day

 Women Beyond Borders hosted their first craft party in our complex on the 19th.  Our focused craft for the day was Message Boards with ribbon and embellishments.  They were a HUGE hit and all the ladies loved making them.  21 women came; 7 of which were new women for me to meet.  And I loved getting to catch up with 14 of my friends all at one time!  However, it wasn't the craft that seemed to be what drew them in nor kept them staying and visiting for a longer period of time.  Watching many of my Indian friends come and give hugs to our returning team was precious.  Last year it took the ladies 3 days to be comfortable enough to hang around, chat, and eat snacks.  This year?  They immediately made sure to chat first and then went back for seconds on the yummy snacks: Indian and American.
