Have not I commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged! For the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go! -Josh 1:9

The Sign Says It All

While leaving our complex the other day, we noticed this sign and thought the saying was perfect! (Of course the day before we took the picture, it read 'foudation') A solid foundation is definitely what we are praying for in every way you can possibly apply the concept. And just as the song teaches, wise upon the rock and not foolish upon the sand. We have met several families in our complex and just this past Sunday, met 3 more. It is amazing how you make one decision to go down an elevator to check on something outside and your path crosses with people you know you were supposed to meet. Indian hospitality always fascinates me and I say we can learn a lot from them in that regard. We let one couple get on the elevator before us, started talking, and was invited over to their home to catch up ANYTIME! The smiles and energy on their faces was priceless. Another lady started a conversation with us and offered to be of assistance anytime we needed anything and even told us if we needed her servant boy, to just call. Friendships are definitely key here, and we know that through these, a foundation is going to be built-exceeding abundantly above all we can ask or think according to the power that works IN us!
