Today JP went to get the oil changed in the Innova. He set the appointment for 9:30, but was informed by a friend that it may be an all day event. Surely not in India right? It's just an oil change!
While waiting for the first 3 hours, he patiently worked on his Hindi homework. That's when a gentleman came up and asked him if he was the owner of the vehicle. The gentleman then informed JP that he was waiting in the wrong lobby. Apparently, this store has 2 waiting areas: one for drivers and one for the owners. Gosh, does this sound like a racial story out of the 1960's in America? In the end, it all turned out for the best. Instead of watching Hindi shows on the television, JP got to enjoy a college basketball rerun and the first couple of innings of the Yankees vs Indians baseball game.
6 hours later...JP arrived home!
