Journey to Sites Unseen

We had a team come through last week. They did a lot of traveling to different places that many people have never traveled before. They did a lot of walking, talking, and reading with the Father. It was an awesome week filled with amazing sights, opportunities, and hearts touched!

The team took one day to visit several different temple sites to walk, talk, and read to the Father. They went to a complex with many different temples and idols. Then ended the day visiting a temple devoted to Krishna. It was there they saw people singing, praying, and laying prostrate on the floor.

The team then traveled to a city called Mathura. It is the supposed birth place of Krishna. They took a boat ride, saw children bathing with water buffalo, watched a cremation take place, and did more walking and talking. This is a specific city that we will be visiting in the future.

They got to take a free day in between all the traveling/lifting up to shop in Delhi. We still aren't sure who the most productive shopper was: Dixie bought the most, Kristy and Jessie caused a fight among 2 street venders, and Todd bargained almost everything by himself. They were also very brave to trust us with the food. They tried lots of varieties of Indian food, fruit beer (not beer), momos, as well as comfort food including Pizza Hut, coffee, and McDonalds.

The last place they visited 2 cities: Jaipur and Sanganer. They saw lots of camels, elephants, a king's palace, temples, and crazy drivers. They hiked up to the top of a hill to an Indian Fort. It was there they were able to look out onto the whole city. It was there they had another amazing time talking, walking, and reading to the Father. Sanganer is another city that we will visit in the future.

We had a great time with the team and are very proud of them! They did AWESOME with the heat and never complained! They engaged in battle and made HUGE progress for the future! We love you and look forward to seeing the fruit from your labor!!
