S-City is one of our chosen GC cities. It is located just 10 miles away from the large city of Jaipur in the desert state of Rajasthan in the Northwest region of India. It has a population of 67,000 people, and, at this time, there are no study groups.
The city is renowned for it's crafts, fabrics, and handprinted textiles and is the largest producer of handmade paper. Printing is done manually with block prints.
Apart from the fabric and paper industry, you can find many medievil remains, temples, and deep cultural roots. The famous Jain temple, Shri Digambar, is located in S-City. And while visiting India, if you desire to see or ride camels and elephants, S-City is DEFINITELY the place to go!
