"Talking" Parents: Salvation

When friends of ours in India gave us a shower last June, they planned a special time of "lifting up" Sawyer using the Word to guide us in our "talk". This particular piece of paper has verses written to specifically guide parents in lifting up their children. There are 31 which can be used daily for one month.

This morning, we felt moved to share them with you each day for the next month. Although January 11 seems a bit random, when He speaks, we listen and take action. So if you find yourself reading this and you have kids or plan on having children one day (Alicia felt the call to start lifting her children up when she was in high school), we ask that you join us!

SALVATION

Isaiah 45:8 "Drop down, you heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the Lord have created it."
2 Timothy 2:10 "Therefore, I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in JC* with eternal glory."

Lord, let salvation spring up within my children, that they may obtain the salvation that is in JC, with eternal glory.
