Born in India...Step 5

The final step.  A "quick" trip to the MCD building to get the exit stamp from the FRO officer.  Nothing quick about it other than the 10 minute car ride.  We went to the office with every document on hand that we needed when we did the same for Sawyer PLUS several other "just in case" items.


We were there for 3 hours and were then told we needed a copy of the registered lease agreement for our home as well as a recent business letter from Hope Handicrafts and Designs, our partnering Indian business.  We rushed home, ate lunch, and began making calls to get the documents in order asap.


That evening, all was set thanks to our helpful business partner and gracious landlord.  The next day, we waited for only 2 hours and, once the officer took one last confirming look at "the baby", we received our exit stamp!  Benjamin is now ready to leave India and visit his homeland for the first time!  America...here he comes!
